These parts made in the UK by Destroy or Die were designed to be used together. To suit the Mazda MX-5 or Miata NC, these adjustable front lower control arms must be fitted with these front Super Knuckles.
The front lower control arms have been developed to provide massive wheel clearance compared to stock arms for increased steering angle. They widen track by at least 25 mm on each side, and up to 100 mm overall at full extension. Separate camber adjustment allows precise control of caster without affecting your camber preferences.
Front Super Knuckles offer 40 mm of roll centre correction and eliminate the bump steer (variation in front wheel alignment during suspension travel) for excellent steering response and superior control. They incorporate two easily interchangeable adjustment options for the user's convenience:
- "Drift" setting: Massive steering angle combined with the 40 mm roll centre correction makes fast, high-angle drifts precise and predictable - even for backwards entries!
- "Track" setting: 40 mm roll centre correction but retains factory steering geometry for improved grip driving without the increased steering ratio.
Note: Control arms require the installation of OEM MX-5 NA or NB front lower ball joints (not supplied), as well as extended tie rods (not supplied). Knuckles retain the use of OEM wheel bearings and are ABS compatible. The manufacturer recommends the use of OEM bushes orPowerflex etc.
This set includes 2 front lower control arms (left and right) and 2 front Super Knuckles (left and right). The installation does not require any cutting or special modifications.
