Red Line 75W90NS GL5 Getriebeöl Spezifikationen
Red Line 75W90NS gear oil is based on a fully synthetic formula blended with ester-based stocks, developed for use in manual transmissions and transaxles requiring GL-5 oil. It is designed to provide excellent shear stability, reduce gear noise and offer consistent viscosity. Extreme pressure (EP) additives allow use with hypoid gears, but the absence of friction modifiers reduces slip for full synchronizer compatibility. A friction modifier can be added to optimise the operation of limited-slip differentials.
As well as providing perfect protection against wear, this oil improves gear shifting both hot and cold. Its appropriate coefficient of friction and anti-corrosion properties extend the life of most manual gearbox synchronizers. Ideal for transmissions with few or many kilometres, this lubricant also improves the lock-up of limited-slip differentials.
